Bill L’Estrange realised his passion for photography could be more than just a hobby when he was asked to photograph and produce a range of postcards of the rare and endangered species living on the beautiful World Heritage listed Frazer Island off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
Since those early days of surreptitiously capturing the grandeur of the local flora and fauna, Bill has made his lifelong passion a professional reality. He can still occasionally be found crawling commando style around in the dirt and mud to capture the ‘perfect shot’ of an animal in it’s natural habitat or a droplet of water gently sliding off a leaf, but he prefers now, as do his numerous portfolio of clients, to photograph people.
Bill understands that every client or event is different, but he believes the one common denominator is to always capture the best shot possible with the quality and attention to detail that it deserves.
Whether it be indoors or outdoors, formal or informal, or within a full studio setup, Bill is extremely easy to work with, has the utmost integrity and a wealth of experience. His ability to blend in enables him to capture the most extraordinarily candid shots and his natural knack of making everyone feel relaxed transposes to the final stunning product.
